Applications of Control Banding PaRT1: Hazard Classification
Session Id: IH09-RT201 Type: Downloadable
Description
Control banding and related qualitative risk assessment approaches are increasingly implemented in work sites with rapidly changing work processes and to prioritize quantitative IH assessments. Control banding is particularly valuable in planning for process changes and prevention through design efforts, where controls are engineered prior to the first exposures. Discussion will cover the advantages and disadvantages of using control banding in WEEL and RPG guidance and internal company standards, where an OEL has not yet been established.
